How is shipping charged?
At Boveda, we use a flat rate percentage model for all customers with orders shipping from North America to allow for better planning of freight expenses, provide consistency and transparency from order to order, and eliminate inherent fluctuations in freight costs due to seasonality, capacity and other factors outside of our control.
Freight charges will be calculated based on the total invoice value before taxes, promotions, or discounts. These rates are reflective of the average actual cost of shipping Boveda products via parcel and LTL services. Boveda will determine the best shipping method based on weights, dimensions, destination, and service from our network of freight partners.
